Easy AP Blog

Welcome to my blog! I hope you like it.

From Wikipedia: Advantage gambling, or advantage play, refers to legal methods used to gain an advantage while gambling.

That’s a good sentence, but as it turns out Wikipedia is not a great source of AP information. There are plenty of AP things out there. Blogs, books, and boards… and I think I’ve read them all, but none of them really serve up the information I spent so much time piecing together for various sources… How do APs think?

I can’t speak for all APs, but I can speak for myself. I’m looking for value opportunities in the world that I can use to my advantage. I like coupons, deals, promotions, sales, and outside the box tactics to squeeze every nickel they can from whatever transaction I’m making. It doesn’t matter if it’s a trip to Walmart or a trip to the casino. I also don’t like to work very hard.

I will post some plays that I believe are widely known and are already facing high competition, but I plan to talk more about the underlining thought process behind being an AP, as well as value opportunities outside casinos. Banks and credit cards are among my favorite targets. There is a ton of low hanging fruit out there, and there is more than enough of it to go around.

I’ll try and keep it simple and entertaining whenever I can.

I put “easy” in the address because I want to keep things simple, or at least as simple as possible. Advantage gambling strategies involve math and tactics that are more complex than walking into a casino and pushing any random button on any random machine. I have found success giving up a few tenths of a percent in return for simple approach that I know like the back of my hand and can I can execute efficiently. Besides, using simple methods makes me feel like I’m not dead in the water if I decide to have a few drinks when I’m out and playing. Life is hard enough without making things harder for ourselves.

I’m new at making web pages, so bear with me. If you see anything that isn’t working correctly, please contact me on twitter or though the contact me link on the page. If there is something you would like me to discuss, don’t be afraid to reach out. Keep in mind, I am an active working part time AP, and I don’t want to shoot myself (or any of you) in the foot.

I like helping people, but there are some things I just will not discuss publicly.

I’ll add new content regularly, or at least until I run out of things to talk about. I may not post every day, but I should have enough to say to keep things rolling for awhile.
